Foundation Gala raises $216K for students, programs

Local business and community members embarked on “An Evening of Magic and Illusion” with the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation to benefit Round Rock ISD during the annual Shining Stars Gala on April 28 at Renaissance Austin Hotel. The event’s presenting sponsor was St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with a donation of $25,000. Additionally, Lexus of Austin sponsored the Live and Silent Auction portion of the evening through a new electronic bidding system, underwritten with a $10,000 donation. Donate to "Piece of the PIE"

Foundation to benefit from Grand Opening Event

Family Tree Dental Group is proud to announce the grand opening of its new Round Rock location on Sunday, May 6 from 3 to 7 p.m. at 200 North Red Bud Lane, Round Rock. During its Grand Opening, the Doctors are teaming up with Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation to raise funds to help enrich, enhance, and maximize the quality of education for all Round Rock students. For just $50, anyone can purchase a 7-day supply of dentist-grade teeth whitening strips, which can be picked up at the grand opening event. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Foundation and have a big impact on the lives of area students. more

Foundation awards 10 scholarships to seniors

Nine Round Rock ISD seniors were selected as winners of ten scholarships through the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation. Four students were winners of George Mooney Memorial Scholarships, two were awarded Susan C. Brown Memorial Scholarships, and four were awarded Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation Scholarships. Each scholarship awarded totaled to an amount of $1,500. more
