Round Rock ISD teachers at 20 campuses were surprised with checks and the news that they were winners of Excellence in Education Grants. The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation sponsors the grant program to provide funding for resources and tools that can significantly and positively impact student achievement and learning.

Round Rock ISD high school students learned about the world of work from more than 30 local employers on Nov. 13 at the sixth annual Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation 2009 Career Fair held at the Round Rock Higher Education Center (1555 University Blvd., Round Rock).
Roughly 800 ninth grade students from all four district high schools visited booths to gather information about career options and the specific education required for success in those careers. Continue Career Fair article

Round Rock ISD’s STARS (Supporting, Teaching and Reaching Students) Mentor Program is a school-based, motivational program encompassing grades K-12. Mentors are matched with a student in a one-on-one relationship and meet regularly on the school campus for 30 minutes to an hour one time per week. Interested in becoming a mentor?
