About
Mission
The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation develops and allocates resources to the Round Rock Independent School District to enrich, enhance, and maximize the quality of education for all students.
History
In 1985, leaders from the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Northwest Austin Chamber of Commerce, RRISD and the RRISD Council of PTAs joined forces to encourage excellence in education through the direct involvement of local businesses and community organizations. By 1999, the need to support students with programs not funded by traditional tax dollars led to the formation of the 501(c)3, RRISD Partners in Education Foundation. All combined, this group has a history rich in success.
Goals
The Education Foundation encourages academic excellence in the Round Rock Independent School District schools by:
- Providing funds for innovative academic programs.
