  • Annual Career Awareness Fair: The Ninth Grade Career Fair is designed to help students identify areas of interest and reinforce course selections and career paths.
  • STARS Mentor Training: Round Rock ISD’s STARS (Supporting, Teaching and Reaching Students) Mentor Program is a school-based, motivational program encompassing grades K-12.
  • Annual School Supplies Distribution: The Partners in Education Foundation and hundreds of community volunteers teamed up to provide basic school supplies to any RRISD student that meets the requirements for the federally funded Free and Reduced Lunch program.
  • George Mooney Scholarship Fund: This program recognizes a graduating senior from each RRISD high school who exemplifies outstanding community service and volunteerism.


ENHANCING educational experiences through Business Partnerships

  • High School Academy Partnerships: This program offers a "school within a school" that specializes in career-related studies within a traditional and comprehensive high school campus. Graduates are more prepared to join industries and pursue professional degrees.
  • New Beginnings, New Directions, New Horizons: This program teaches at-risk students the skills necessary to be productive, successful citizens and helps them make the connection between the classroom and real world.
  • Principal for a Day: Principal for a Day candidates are appointed to spend the day on a campus with administrators and learn the demands and inner-workings of RRISD schools.

MAXIMIZING opportunities through Financial Contributions

  • Gala: Support the district's efforts by providing sponsorships, auction items or purchasing tickets to the RRISD Partners in Education Foundation's Annual Gala.
  • Golf Classic: Support the district's efforts by providing sponsorships, auction items or participating in the RRISD Partners in Education Foundation's Golf Classic.
  • Annual Giving Campaign: RRISD employees contribute a portion of their earnings though this yearly campaign.
  • Honorary Giving: Recognize an exemplary RRISD employee with a donation in their name.
  • Excellence in Education Grants: Educators are awarded grants to fund innovative educational opportunities that support district and campus goals.
  • Teacher Excellence Awards: The Partners in Education Foundation contributes $100 to each RRISD campus for their Teacher of the Year, and $500 to the district level RRISD primary and secondary Teacher of the Year.
